Monteverdi ORE2 - Monteverdi seemed to be done with the Formula One during the 1990 season. Beside that the ORE2 was already in development. In January 1991 the car was completed and build.
JJ lehto tested with the car and some decent times were set. The team eventually decided to leave the Formula one.
This resource says the team tested in 1991 (showing the Monza photo), but Lehto would already been at Scuderia Italia by this time (he'd driven the teams F190 in the Bologna Sprint on 8-9th December 1990)

Monteverdi Formula One, who bought Onyx in 1990 and chose to suspend activities after the 10th round Hungary GP. Many of the staff at the time of establishment had withdrawn, and the activities as the F1 team were no longer difficult. However, owner Peter Monteverdi did not give up F1 participation, but was preparing to proceed to send the F1 team of Swiss nationality. And looking to 91 years, Monteverdi sent the machine to the Monza joint test after the Hungarian GP.
This ORE - 2 was introduced to the joint test of Monza. However, it is somewhat dubious whether the machine name is ORE - 2 in the first place. The design probably is probably due to Peter Monteverdi himself. It is obvious from the appearance that the machine is based on ORE - 1 B used up to Hungary GP, but at this time Alan Jenkins who already worked on ORE - 1 did not have the design as design of Jenkins as a design It is unknown whether Burnie Marcus who was involved and was involved in this car. The change from ORE - 1B was aerodynamic refurbishment, the small engine cowl was expanded, the silhouette changed. Also, the leading edge of the radiator intake has been extended obliquely, and it seems that it evolved accordingly. However, in reality it would have been safe to call it ORE - 1C. Like the ORE-1B, the engine was equipped with Ford Cosworth DFR 90, which is responsible for tuning and maintenance by Hyni Murder. There is no other than a Marlboro logo on the sponsor. Coloring seemingly looks like a Marlboro style, but red and white would be the images of the Swiss flag. It seems that nationalism against the team of Monteverdi appears. To the side pontoon, the logo of the Monte Verdi Auto Museum which has changed the design is pasted. Test Drive is a regular driver of the 90th season, "JJ" Iruki Jarubirate was in charge of taking action after the It was a new machine that measured the time in Monza in this way, the time was the lowest time among the 32 participating parties. Originally the last year's machine, the team who was unable to fight the race properly sent a machine to the test, there was never anything like a dramatic improvement in time. In 1991 it was Monteverdi who was going to re-enter as Monteverdi-Switzerland F1 Team, but the issue of sorting out team's debts also emerged, and we are no longer in a situation where we can enter into F1 etc. I had it. Eventually, after this test Monteverdi will not appear on the circuit and ORE - 2 will be forgotten as a phantom machine Later, only DFR at the heart seems to have been diverted to Monteverdi High 650 F 1 which is a super sports concept produced in 1992. The Monteverdi F1 machine seemed to have influenced the suspension design of this car, but this high 650F1 was not sold out after all, and the company itself Monteverdi stopped working as well. Mock-up which seems to be a design study of ORE-2. Although there is an explanation of mock-up, it seems that around the cockpit is building firmly. Perhaps it is a modification of the monocoque of ORE - 1. Eccentric designs will not work if a decent F1 designer. There is a very interesting part such as the shape around the radiator intake, but what was the intention of cooling? There is no doubt such as the mounting position of the rear wing or the inspiration to the engine. This car, which is probably the best of Peter Monteverdi's hobby, is also located in the Monteverdi Museum.
As ORE - 1 B and ORE - 2.2 standing in the Monteverdi Museum are present, at least Monteverdi seems to have seriously considered F1 continuation. The explanation board is written as a machine for 91 years, the formal machine type is unknown. Both of the front wings are replaced with those equipped with ORE - 1, but I do not know the reason. An ornament of Monteverdi is affixed to the nose. One ORE - 2 seems to have been refurbished from ORE - 1 B, and one seems to be newly built. ORE - 2-7 was probably remodeled from ONYX ORE - 1 B - 7. The ORE - 2-8 was newly constructed, and it seems that the rate performed the test run by the joint test of Monza.
